Nadasurabhi Cultural Association located in Koramangala, Bangalore is in the forefront of promoting Classical Carnatic Music. Nadasurabhi conducts the highest quality music concerts every month and a week-long Annual Festival in November, free of charge to all rasikas. Our other events include a youth festival, Thyagaraja and Purandaradasa Aradhana, and music competitions for children.

Vidushi Mahathi is one of the leading young carnatic vocalists from Chennai. Hailing from a family of musicians, she has learnt advanced music from senior vidwans like Sri. OS Thiagarajan, Dr. M. Balamurali Krishna and Sri. T.N.Seshagopalan. She is a recipient of Isai peroli, Yuva kala bharathi and several other awards in carnatic music. Her melliflous voice is well suited for light music and hence she is a very popular singer in movies. She has more than 600 movie songs to her credit in the four south indian languages. She is a A Grade artist of AIR. Her Mahathi Academy of music and dance is training about 500 students in various faculties.

 

Smt. Smitha, Sri. AAK Sharma and Sri. ASN Swamy are very well known top rung artists in Bangalore and are very familiar to Bangalore and particularly Nadasurabhi audiences, as they have performed on numerous occasions on our stage.
