Sumitra who has made a name as a leading guru in Bangalore both for Carnatic music and Bharatanatyam, presented a beautiful bouquet of compositions from Karnataka composers starting from the varnam to mangalam. It was avery well balanced, enjoyable and flawless presentation.

Important numbers included, a sub-main -Bhajana seyya raada in Dharmavathi. The main was a devarnama in Kambodhi tuned by Smt. Neela Ramgopal, in a way that is specially suited to be taken up as the main piece. It was wonderfully executed by Sumitra and team. A contemporary composer Arasi's kannada song was included for variety. Audience in the packed hall had a very satisfactory experience.
