Nadasurabhi provides financial
support to musicians.
During this year 2020, the world has seen more misery, physical and mental agony than ever before. No part of the world has been spared by the deadly Corona virus from its deadly tentacles. Every single individual has been affected adversely in one way or another. The worst affected are those who have lost their livelihood, due to the lock down of all activities, for extended periods of time, in most countries and especially in India.
Nadasurabhi being a socially sensitive charitable organization whose primary objective is to promote Indian Classical music cannot be a mute spectator to the pandemic. Hence it was decided that we financially support musicians/ artists who have been severely affected during this period due to the lock down.
We are pleased to inform you that this week we have made a contribution to 15 needy musicians, an amount of Rs.20,000 each.
This may just be a drop in the ocean. But we are still happy to share with you our humble contribution, not only to music but also musicians.
Without musicians, after all, there would be no music.
We, at Nadasurabhi are as eager as you, to recommence our regular carnatic concerts. Once the climate is safe, we will surely meet you in the concerts. We hope that the day will not be too far.
With all your blessings and support,
Sincerely,
Raghavan
