Nadasurabhi continues its Music Education Initiative- Announcing Course 12.

Nadasurabhi is pleased to announce its twelfth course under the Education initiative to conduct high level music courses.

December 10^th  2016, Saturday- 3.30 pm to 5.30 pm

December 11^th 2016, Sunday- 3.30 pm to 5.30 pm

December 12^th 2016, Monday- 3.30 pm to 5.30 pm

Each session will be approximately of 2 hour duration.

Course fee per participant is Rs. 2000 payable in cash or NEFT bank transfer in advance. Registration will be confirmed on receipt of payment. There can be no refund of fees after registration. About The Guru:

Vidushi Vasantha Madhavi is one of the senior music scholars and teachers of carnatic music in Bangalore. As the founder and principal of “Ragasree College of Music”, Vasanthamadhavi is training and encouraging a good number of talented and promising students. Every year Prathibha Utsav is celebrated, at which new talented young artists trained by her are introduced to the performing field. Gyanavani, a broadcasting unit of the Indira Gandhi open university, broadcasts Music lesson classes conducted by her regularly and has aired several demonstrative and educative programs, much appreciated by the public. Amruthavarshini has broadcast several times from Amrutha Gurukula music classes conducted by her. She has conducted scores of music workshops on highly specialized topics. Several leading artists today are her students. Leading music scholar and artist Dr. T.S.Sathyavathi is younger sister and disciple of Smt.Vasantha Madhavi.

Composer

Vid. Vasanthamadhavi has a Kovida degree in Sanskrit and is a prolific composer. She has composed in Sanskrit, Kannada and Telugu. The compositions are quite popular in the concert circuit. There have also been full concerts exclusively of he compositions.

Vidushi Vasantha Madhavi is a well known musicologist and performing artist. She has been honored with the titles  "Kalaradhana Shree" “ Gunanidhi” “ Sangitha Vaggeya Bhushani” “Kalajyothy” “Shastra Koustubha, the prestigious“Karnataka kalashri”, “Sangeetha Lakshmi Nidhi”, Gandharva Vamsha nidhi, Swarabhushani, Ganakamala, Kempegouda Prashasthi, Nadayogini, Sama puraskar, Sangita Kalaravinda, Rajya belli deepa and Natyashree by reputed organizations.
