Nadasurabhi continues its Music Education Initiative- Announcing Course 26.

Nadasurabhi is pleased to announce its twenty sixth course under the Education initiative to conduct high level music courses.

Details are as follows:

Prime disciple of Carnatic legend Lalgudi Sri. G Jayaraman 

Course Title: Compositions of Lalgudi G Jayaraman and Lalgudi Pancharathna by Saint Thyagaraja

Dates and timing:

September 30,  Saturday  -   3.00 pm - 6.00 pm

October 1,        Sunday -       3.00 pm - 6.00 pm

October 2,        Monday -      3.00 pm – 6.00 pm (Gandhi Jayanthi Holiday)

List of songs : A minimum of 5 songs will be taught depending on availability of time.

1. Taana Varnam- Kannada- Lalgudi G Jayaraman.

2. Pada Varnam –Neelambari- Lalgudi G Jayaraman.

3. Thillana 1- Vasanthi - Lalgudi G Jayaraman.

4. Thillana 2 - Durga - Lalgudi G Jayaraman.

5. Thavarizhaippadu – Ragavardhini - Lalgudi G Jayaraman.

6. Sree Jagadeeshwari – Ahirbhairav- Lalgudi G Jayaraman.

7. Deva Sri – Madhyamavathi – One of Saint Thyagaraja’s Lalgudi Pancharathna Kritis

Course fee per participant is Rs. 3,000 payable in cash or NEFT/UPI bank transfer in advance. Registration will be confirmed on receipt of payment. There can be no refund of fees after registration.

No. of students: 20 only on first come first served basis. (A few seats are reserved for eager music students, who are economically backward, based on the recommendation from their guru. They are exempted from payment of the course fee)

Age: Students should have completed the age of 12 (DOB before 1^st October 2011)

Minimum Student Qualification:  Must have learnt Carnatic music till keerthanai level. Suitable for aspiring and  performing artists.

Venue of Course: At the office address, as above. Search for “Nadasurabhi” on google maps. (Landmarks: 1. Near Maharaja Signal in Koramangala. 2. Near Mantri Classic Apartments.)
